Because dehumidifiers are designed to be used in closed rooms, the capacity values are based on the maximum size of ONE ROOM ONLY. Taking the overall area of a number of rooms is not the way to select your dehumidifier.
- Here is a good tip: If you want to dry a number of different rooms and you only have a single dehumidifier, place an air circulator or large fan in each of the rooms and move the dehumidifier daily.
